Job Summary for Cafeteria Worker:

We are looking for a welcoming, responsive, and dynamic Cafeteria Worker to become a part of our staff. Guarantee that diners have an outstanding dining occasion. Attend to Guests with a welcoming, pleasant, prompt, and skilled approach, showing attentiveness to their requirements. Adheres to responsible practices for serving alcohol as outlined by Golden Corral Dining's policy and in compliance with state and local regulations.

Responsibilities for Cafeteria Worker:

• Have a thorough understanding of the menu to effectively communicate our offerings to customers, update them on ongoing food deals and specials, and address any queries they may have.
• Writes down food and beverage requests precisely on guest tickets and promptly inputs them into the POS system before serving, utilizing correct abbreviations and pricing.
• Provides timely service by delivering food and drinks to customers promptly, including picking up orders from the kitchen and serving them to guests within the server's area and other designated sections of the establishment.
• Proficiency in evaluating guest behavior and recognizing situations that warrant escalation to a Manager's attention, including in areas managed by other staff members.
• Adhere to protocols for alcohol awareness to identify age, prevent intoxication, and manage intoxicated individuals while complying with all relevant company alcohol guidelines.
• Guarantee the accuracy of all financial dealings and uphold precision when handling money for giving change.
• Utilize credit card terminals accurately.
• Calculates the correct change for the customer and promptly returns the accurate amount.
• Ensures table presentation by promptly clearing dishes, monitoring beverage levels, eliminating mess, and offering sufficient napkins.
• Maintains cleanliness at the station, arranges and dismantles the station tables correctly.
• Completes tasks related to starting or ending shifts.
• Follows all safety and sanitation protocols as outlined by the company.
• Provides support to team members whenever necessary or as required by business demands.
• Fosters positive interactions with fellow team members within the organization to cultivate a collaborative work environment and boost team spirit.
• Always presents a positive portrayal of Golden Corral.
• Maintains cleanliness in work zones and ensures proper storage of tools, equipment, and supplies.

Requirements for Cafeteria Worker:

• Fluent English-Speaking and Writing Skills
• Neat, Clean, Professional Appearance
• Strong stamina to work long or split shifts
• Stand for long periods of time
• Able to work a flexible schedule
• Highly Collaborative Nature
• Exhibit a sense of urgency
• Able to lift 25 lbs multiple times a day
• One year experience handling money desired
• Previous Waitstaff experience desired
