A Front Desk Agent is critical in establishing a hotel's reputation for offering excellent customer service and a pleasant stay for guests. Our ideal candidate has previous hospitality experience, is comfortable with hotel procedures, and possesses excellent communication skills. As our Front Desk Agent, you will also be supervising the work of other front desk employees, including receptionists and concierges, highlighting the importance of staying attentive, organized, and always prepared.

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance customer satisfaction by providing upscale guest service experiences to clients throughout their stay
  • When clients arrive, it's important to offer a friendly greeting to set the tone for the rest of the interaction
  • Keep track of the daily reservations and ensure that the assigned accommodations are completely prepped prior to check-in
  • By offering a coordinated luggage collection and storage service, we are able to provide our guests with the peace of mind that their belongings are in safe hands, leaving them more time to enjoy their stay with us
  • Administer the check-in and check-out process by controlling reservations and financial transactions
  • Hastily attend to the wishes of visitors, like serving them meals in the comfort of their rooms
  • When presented with a complaint, it's important to maintain a calm and professional demeanor, avoiding defensiveness or argumentation
  • Guests with specific needs such as the elderly, disabled, children, and high-profile individuals should receive custom-made services from hospitality staff
  • Administer and direct communication between visitors and employees and conduct follow-ups to ensure that any customer issues are settled

  • Measure the Team's Progress and Provide Regular Reports
  • Communicate effectively with Housekeepers and Wait Staff to offer guests a memorable experience
  • Analyze recurring obligations, allocate assignments and evaluate advancement
  • Improving the physical amenities and decor of the hotel could also help raise ratings and improve guest satisfaction. Upgrading furniture, bedding, lighting, and other aspects of the guest experience can contribute to a more comfortable and luxurious stay
  • The shopping scene in the city offers a unique experience. You can find a variety of boutiques, marketplaces, retail stores, and malls that offer handmade crafts, fashionable clothing, and souvenirs to bring back home. You can also shop for specialty items like local wines, olive oils, and chocolates
  • Foster a welcoming environment by consistently maintaining a clean and organized hotel with comfortable amenities

Skills:

  • Substantiated background as a competent Front Desk Agent
  • One key technique for successful hotel management is to establish clear policies and procedures that are communicated effectively to all staff members
  • Application of Hotel Management software (PMS) in real life scenarios
  • Proficiency in English a must, proficiency in other languages advantageous
