If you enjoy customer service and have experience in hospitality, our hotel is seeking a Front Desk Agent. As the first point of contact for guests, this role requires an excellent communicator, a problem-solver, and a person capable of handling any situation effectively. The Front Desk Agent's primary duty is to make sure guests feel welcome and comfortable throughout their stay, including checking them in, storing their luggage, and answering any questions or concerns.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster positive relationships with guests by delivering high-end hospitality services throughout their stay
  • Properly greeting clients is a simple but essential aspect of providing quality customer service
  • Follow the daily booking chart closely and make sure that the designated rooms are ready for guests before their arrival

  • Regulate the check-in and check-out procedures, which involves managing bookings and handling financial transactions
  • Speedily fulfill the needs of guests, such as delivering food and beverages to their accommodations
  • Acknowledging the customer's complaint and thanking them for bringing the issue to your attention can help to establish a positive rapport and open up lines of communication for a resolution
  • The aim of hospitality staff is to provide tailored services to all guests, including those with unique needs like disabled individuals, the elderly, children, and distinguished VIPs
  • Coordinate and manage the exchange of information between guests and staff, ensuring that all customer concerns are addressed and resolved

  • Ascertain Team Performance and Issue Consistent Reports
  • Join forces with Housekeeping and Wait Staff to deliver a seamless and delightful stay for guests
  • Examine customary tasks, distribute duties and monitor development
  • Several reviews have noted concerns about safety and security, particularly in areas such as parking lots and elevators. Implementing additional security measures and communicating these to guests can help alleviate any anxiety they might feel

Skills:

  • Confirmed record of employment as a Front Desk Agent
  • Training and development programs are also essential for ensuring that staff members have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent service and comply with relevant laws and regulations
  • First-hand experience with Hotel Management software (PMS)
  • Capability in English vital, familiarity with different languages helpful
  • Successful customer service requires active listening and clear communication skills
