Our hotel is searching for a skilled Front Desk Agent to take on the vital role of ensuring our visitors have a comfortable, enjoyable stay. This position requires excellent communication skills, a talent for customer service, and knowledge of hotel procedures. As our Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for supervising and training Receptionists and Concierges, assuring that all guests receive top-notch service and have all their needs met.

Responsibilities:

  • Offer top-notch guest service to clients throughout their visit to elevate their overall satisfaction
  • Proper salutations are vital in making the clients feel at ease when they arrive
  • Keep a close eye on the daily booking schedule and guarantee that all designated rooms are properly prepared ahead of guests' arrival
  • As part of our commitment to providing exceptional customer service, we take great care to coordinate the collection and storage of luggage for our guests
  • Supervise the process of checking-in and checking-out, which includes managing bookings and handling financial transactions
  • Quickly respond to the needs of guests, including serving food and beverages in their rooms
  • Resolving a complaint requires more than just processing information; it involves actively listening to the complaint and deciphering its root cause
  • Providing tailored services to specific guests is crucial, especially to those who have unique needs like disabled individuals, elderly citizens, kids, and distinguished personalities
  • Facilitate communication between guests and staff and follow through to guarantee that any concerns raised by customers are addressed

  • Direct and oversee the guest relations team's activities to ensure that they comply with all the established standards, guidelines, and protocols
  • Review the Team's Performance and Create Ongoing Reports
  • Work alongside Housekeepers and Wait Staff to create a seamless guest experience
  • Evaluate day-to-day obligations, distribute jobs and monitor progress
  • Another area of improvement could be in the quality and variety of food offerings. Some guests have complained about the limited options and bland flavors, while others have noted inconsistent preparation and presentation
  • Explore the vibrant streets of our city by visiting some of the top local tourist attractions like the historic landmarks, the museum, and the natural parks, which offer endless excitement and fun activities. Enjoy sight-seeing as you learn about the history and culture of the city
  • Encourage staff members to remember regular clients' names and preferences, adding a personal touch to their hospitality

Skills:

  • Verified track record of successful performance as a Front Desk Agent
  • It is important for hotel managers to stay up-to-date on the latest industry standards and ensure that their staff is properly trained to meet these standards
  • Getting hands-on with Hotel Management software (PMS)
  • English proficiency required, multilingualism advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to actively listen are key drivers of great customer service
