A position for a Front Desk Agent is open to ensure guests feel welcome and comfortable during their stay at our hotel. This role entails coordinating check-ins, greeting arrivals, conveying hotel amenities, and supervising the work of Receptionists and Concierges. An ideal applicant would have prior hospitality experience and be familiar with typical hotel procedures, such as check-ins, bookings, and luggage handling.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional hospitality services to guests during their tenure in order to enhance their stay experience
  • Clients must be given a warm welcome when they arrive to make them feel comfortable
  • Observe and track daily reservations and ascertain that allotted rooms are ready for occupancy before guests arrive
  • Coordinating the collection and storage of luggage is an essential task in the hospitality industry, ensuring that guests have a seamless and hassle-free travel experience
  • Ensure smooth check-in and check-out procedures by monitoring reservations and financial transactions
  • Attend to customers' demands promptly, such as catering to their in-room dining requests
  • Showing attentiveness and taking the time to thoroughly understand a complaint can lead to a faster and more effective resolution to the issue
  • Customized services must be offered to special guests, such as those who have a physical disability, the elderly, children, and VIPs
  • Organize and oversee interaction between visitors and employees and check in to ensure that any customer inquiries are resolved satisfactorily

  • Evaluate the Team's Work and Generate Consistent Reports
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping and Wait Staff to ensure guests are met with an enjoyable stay
  • Monitor daily responsibilities, delegate assignments and track advancements
  • One potential opportunity for elevating customer satisfaction could be by improving housekeeping services. Many guests have reported issues with cleanliness and organization in their rooms, which could be resolved with more regular cleaning schedules and meticulous attention to detail

Skills:

  • Demonstrated history of employment in a Front Desk Agent role
  • Knowledge of all hotel management best practices and relevant laws is crucial for running a successful and profitable establishment
  • Practical familiarity with Hotel Management software (PMS)
  • English fluency highly valued, proficiency in other languages a bonus
  • Exceptional communication and attentive listening are integral elements of customer service excellence
