Job Summary of Catering Server:

Seeking a Server who is amicable, vigilant, and dynamic for a position in our team. Ensure that Clients are provided with an excellent dining experience. Deliver service to Customers with a friendly, accommodating, skilled, and punctual approach, while being mindful of their needs. Follow responsible alcohol serving guidelines as set forth by Golden Corral Dining's policy and as mandated by local and state laws.

Catering Server's Requirements:

• Skilled in using English fluently for speaking and writing purposes
• The importance of presenting oneself in a neat and immaculate manner cannot be overstated
• Vigorous energy needed for prolonged or staggered work hours
• Endure standing for extended periods
• Possess the ability to adapt to varying work schedules

Catering Server's Responsibilities:

• Showcase excellent familiarity with the menu to articulate our dishes to guests, inform them about the latest food promotions and specials, and address any concerns they may have.
• Takes precise notes of food and beverage requests on guest tickets and enters the orders swiftly into the POS system prior to serving, employing proper abbreviations and charges.
• Ensures timely delivery of food orders and drinks to customers, involving the process of collecting dishes from the kitchen and serving them to guests within the server's zone or any other designated area of the dining establishment.
• Capacity to evaluate guest attitude and pinpoint moments necessitating the intervention of a Manager, irrespective of the assigned section.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures to verify age, avoid intoxication, and handle intoxicated Guests while upholding all company alcohol policies.
• Maintain the precision of all financial transactions and ensure exactness when providing change in coins.
• Ensure correct operation of credit card machines.
• Ensures the correct amount of change is calculated and returned promptly to the customer.
• Preserves table organization by pre-bussing, monitoring beverage levels, decluttering, and providing ample napkins.
• Responsible for station cleanliness, properly arranging and removing station tables as needed.
• Manages opening and closing responsibilities as part of the daily routine.
• Complies with all company policies regarding safety and sanitation practices.
• Supports other team members as and when required by the needs of the business.
• Nurtures a constructive rapport with all team members to encourage teamwork and maintain a positive working atmosphere.
• Maintains a favorable representation of Golden Corral.
• Keeps work areas tidy and ensures tools, equipment, and supplies are stored correctly.
